"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2014"

I have no children in school so summer break shouldn't effect me right?  Same ole, same ole?  Nope.  Summer has been crazy around here.  I've managed to get behind on a lot of things like editing, posting, laundry, cleaning, being a friend, being a good mom, and ME TIME. 

I have been taking my weekly pictures of the girls though.  It's just getting them from camera to computer that's taken time.  Sorry for the overload.

Lou:  So excited to play

Boo:  Taking a break from the fun.  I was proud of her for getting even the little bit wet that she did.  She's not real fond of water in her eyes :)

 Lou:  Emmy loves to play with others.  She's never been really good at alone time.  I loved coming down the stairs and seeing her in her own world playing with the Barbie dolls.  

Boo:  She gets so zoned...even when cleaning

Making memories during our first camping adventure of the summer

Lou: We love camping here because of all the flowers.  The girls pick bouquet after bouquet.  The tables fill with plastic cups of flowers.

Boo:  Doing some serious crafting (once again...zoned in)

Sue:  Since she's not quite walking, we did all we could do to keep her in the shade and out of the dirt.  Who am I kidding, she got filthy from all her exploring.  But the cooler did provide her entertainment and give the dirt a break now and again.
